"Hi! I am Dr. Adrienne Mulligan and on behalf of expertvillage.com I want to talk to you a little bit about exercising your cat with toys and interactive playthings with you yourself and also things they can do with each other or by themselves. So the first thing I am going to show you is a few interesting toys, this one can be an interactive toy or it can hang on a door and they can go after it. So this one is a new one from i-cat so they haven't really learned about it too much yet. But this one can be fun if they start figuring it out and so they just haven't really gotten used to this one yet and you sort of just have to get their attention with it and I hang this one on a door knob and I know that one of these days there are going to figure it out that that they can pull it down and let it go and it will spring around for them. Then you can throw it on the floor and they will learn to play with it, but again that is one that my cats haven't quite figured out. But the one my cats like the most is really called the fishing rod, the fishing rod can come with all sorts of things on it from beads to feathers and jingle bells and things like that and this is one that cats really love, so that is one type. And then there are a few others that are interactive with your hand, this is a nice little glove that keeps them away from your hands, so that you don’t get hurt. And this is also a new one for my kitties and so they are just learning to kind of figuring this one out to. So they have their favorites and every cat has their favorites, but the point is finding things that are their favorites and overtime different ones become their favorites."
