"Hognose Snakes are not a large species. As I mentioned before, they only get about a couple feet long so you don't need huge enclosures for them. For an adult Hognose Snake you can use a ten gallon tank, or the equivalent of. A female tend to get a little bit bigger than the males so you might want to use a larger enclosure for a female. Now, in this tank, there is a three year old male Hognose Snake who is not that large at all. He's only about fourteen inches long. Now, for neonates, for hatchling Hognose Snakes, you can use a smaller container. And, I use these little pet habitats, you don't need anything much larger than that. Now, this snake can stay in this container until it reaches a little bit over a foot long then you might want to move him to a larger container. These snakes are not all that active so you don't need huge climbing spaces for them. More ground surface is more important than vertical height. So you want something with more terrestrial habitat."
