"Hello my name is Hui on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show how to cook vegetable tempura. So you see before frying the vegetables, I have them lay on the cutting board really nicely. Then I have around 2 tablespoon of flour and I use a small strainer to gently dust the flour on the top of the vegetables. Then I flip it and repeat the process. The reason for me dusting the vegetables slice is because the flour would actually increase the stickiness between the vegetables and the batter, so the batter will not fall off when you have your vegetable tempura fry. Again when we test the oil, we drop a little batter and if it starts bubbling, that is the right temperature. "
