"Hey there, this is Chef Dominic with Expert Village and while the butter now is starting to get hot, before it dries, we still want a little bit of butter in the pan when we add the heavy cream. We are going to shake it up a little bit and we are going ahead and add the entire quart into this. It takes about 10 to 12 minutes to make the alfredo sauce. The only thing we did so far was cover the pan in butter. We go ahead and put the heavy cream into the pan. This will all cook and come out about the same time. We are going to go ahead and start off by putting about a half-teaspoon of salt into that so that when it cooks it cooks the flavor and also about a half-teaspoon of black pepper. Remember you could use white pepper if you prefer but it all depends on what you like. We are going to go ahead and grab the whisk and we are going to start mixing it up. In the next segment, we will actually go over boiling the alfredo sauce and getting it to the texture we need. "
