"On behalf of Expert Village this is Dina Cutrone from Tall Order in New York City. Today we are going to be showing you how to make a quick and easy Thai dinner. Okay so now we have our papaya that I have already cut and I peeled. You would see in the inside of the papaya that there is seeds so you just have to scoop them out like you do with the melon. These seeds are actually eatable so you can save them and put them on a salad if you like. So they are not the kind that you have to throw out. So we just get those out. I'm just using a little bit of this so I'm only peel part of it cause we don't need the whole thing. Just a little salad here. You can really cut this again to any shape that you like but I'm just going to do in some smaller Julienne like match sticks cause I think that would look cute in the salads. So I'm just going to cut across here and down like this. This is actually quiet soft. You can see the beautiful color and I will just do smaller pieces like this. "

on 11/15/2008 This is the wrong way to cut the papaya . If you cannot do in true Thai style . At least use a Mandolin . Having spent some time in Thailand it is dissapointing to see this salad done so poorly
