"Hi! This is Dave for Expert Village and today we are making potato salad. Okay now the last veggie we are going to use in the potato salad to add a little extra zing and zest to it is the green onion. Green onions are also known as scallions in some parts of the country in America and what you want to do is go ahead and line up all of these, the root end here. Put your blade right across there and line those up and you got nice clean greens here. Now of course, you have already washed these thoroughly. These are not very sandy or anything. These are great flavor to them. What you want to do is just start here and do as thin as you can here because they can be very crunchy and flavor to your potato salad if you go along with the yellow onions that you've used. "
