Boiling Water for Potato Salad

"Hi! This is Dave for Expert Village and today we are making potato salad. Now we are getting the pot ready for potatoes. We have a nice sturdy pot that we are going to cook our potatoes in. We are going to have our 4 cups of water; add those to the pot. Set that aside and put this on high. Then we want to get couple of teaspoons of sale in here; little flavor in the water before we put in the potatoes. So I suggest about 2 teaspoons. You don't want to have too much in there because the potatoes really absorb salt. What you want to do here now is bring this up to a boil and we will add our potatoes.l "
