"Hi this is Dave for Expert Village today were going to make some crock pot beef stew. Now another ingredient for our great crock pot meal were going to add some mushrooms to this. So what I like to do is take off the stem a little bit they get a little tough even though your going to be cooking this overnight. They'll get tender but it's not one of my favorite parts so we're going to take that off the bottom as you can see it's really a quick process. So what I'm going to do right here is quarter these up so just go ahead this way and this way with your knife, you get a nice quarter mushrooms. These are really going to enhance the flavor it's almost like a beef bugeron when you do something with mushrooms like this."
