"Hi this is Dave for Expert Village today were going to make some crock pot beef stew. Now that we removed the fat from the roast what were going to do is cut this into cubes you can also do this with a crock pot if your just not doing beef stew. If you just want to have a nice roast just falls apart then you can just leave it like this and put it in. But we're going to make this stew we're going to cut this into cubes, so I want to turn the roast lengthwise like this and you can do whatever size cubes you like. I kind of like mine chunky but were going to end up browning these pretty soon you can see that step in a moment but kind of make them into steaks almost. But again these are made for slow cooking instead of frying them up in a pan. This will be very tough over wise so what I like to do go ahead across like that I think I'll do one more line here, watch your fingers there. Once you got them cut in this direction what you can do is if you want to get it more quickly you can just lay one on top of the other here. And we're just going to make cubes out of this you can even turn it long ways here slide your knife straight through. You can just turn it in this direction put this aside and just make whatever size chunks you want, as you can see it comes out really nice and chunky if you like your beef stew with huge chunks you can do that if you like with just little cubes you can do whatever you like."
