"Hi this is Dave for Expert Village today were going to make some crock pot beef stew. We have our beautiful top round roast as I said this will be really tender at the end. Its going to be a tough cut of meat your going to do it for anything like broiling or anything like that so this is really a good one for doing crock pot cooking. So this is a little bit of the fat cap on it you want to take that off because it'll get really kind of greasy in your overnight cooking so just take your knife and just go along the edge there. This will come off pretty easily there if you got a nice sharp knife and you'll see it'll start revealing that nice red meat, we'll take this completely off if you leave a little bit behind that okay to. Because fat adds flavor to it we just don't want it to have to much grease to it so as you can see it'll come off just fine just like that. We'll put that aside and this will be about ready to put in your crock pot we're going to season it up a little bit with those wonderful seasonings that we just saw."
