" Helen McMahon, for Expert Village. Voil? la soupe est pret maintenant We are ready to serve our soup and going to scoop some of it out into this dish. It is a lovely consistency. You will notice that the broccoli that was put in just at the last minute is still nice and green and we’ve got nice chunks of meat here and beautiful mushrooms as well as carrots and all the other ingredients. It is beautiful soup and nutritious and a whole meal in itself. I am going to sprinkle a bit of parsley on the top. I prefer my parsley nice and fresh just at the last minute so it has a nice green color still and has not lost any of its vitamins. With this and a crusty loaf of French bread or croissant, you have a full meal that will delight anyone. I’m going to taste it because we want to make sure that we have all the seasonings that we need. It’s wonderful but I would like mine with a little more freshly ground pepper, maybe a bit of salt and I will add that to the pot as well because I think other people would like it that way. If a family member is on a sodium free diet, then you would not add the salt but everybody else in the family can add it at the table individually. Perfect. "
