"I'm going to show you now how to make pound cake crotons. It's very simple and it's actually, this is something I invented myself. I have to, I didn't see anybody do this before, and maybe people do it now. But what you simply do is you can use a pound cake. This is a store bought, national brand pound cake, but you can also you use any type of loaf cakes will be great. You can use banana bread, zucchini bread, cranberry, things you find at the store, anything will work great. And what you simply want to do, is we're going to cut this into some half inch slices, like so. And then again, we're going to cut these into thirds, and thirds again. And you get these cute little pieces. And then you're going to put them on the cookie sheet and just put them about an inch apart, because you need room, you're going to have to turn them over. Each one has to be turned over so that it gets brown on each side. And if you cut, I just cute that one into four, it doesn't really matter how big or small the pieces are. You can make them huge, or I've seen now people that, you can cut them into larger chunks, can be, and can be just as pretty. This kind of rectangular shape is something that I started using, so I'm just going to keep with that. I'm going to use, I'm going to skip the heel there, keep that as a chief's treat. And just cut these along, okay. So here we go. We've got our tray full of these pound cake crotons. And let me tell you something, you might want to make more of these than you need for the soup because these are incredibly delicious and just a great snack too outside of the fruit soup, all by themselves. I now I preheated the oven to 350 degrees and it just goes in there, like so. And then we're going to check it about every five minutes, we're going to turn them over till that's done; very simple. Okay, keep clicking!"
