"This recipe calls for tomatoes. We're using three large tomatoes. Hot house tomatoes for the most flavor but we don't want any seeds in our soup. So I'm going to show you how to so simply prepare them by first removing the little green stem on each one like so. Comes out and then we're going to slice them in half. Slice them in half through the wide and then we're going to just with our fingers, your hands are sometimes your best cooking tool. Careful the juice will squeeze, will shoot out if you, put your finger in too fast, like that. But that loosens up all the seeds and a big, one hard throw and the seeds are out of there. Pretty simple. There we go we loosen the seed packets there again. Boom, that's out of there. I'll just do it a little more here and then I'm going to show you, we're going to do a nice coarse chop of these too because, like I said the same kind of thing with the zucchini is that, tomatoes are very soft and cook very fast and we just want these in a nice coarse dice so we keep our quarter inch slices like so and cut a quarter inch the other way. See we have a nice, nice dice soup because it's nice to have a recognizable vegetable on your spoon, you know. Here if you this little bit of that stem we don't really need to have that stem in there so when we get to that corner, that center piece. We can pick this out now and you don't need to watch me do this. I'm going to finish this up in a second and watch me do something else. Ok. I'll be right back. Keep clicking."
