"My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I am making creamy broccoli soup. Alright so I am going to go ahead and start preparing our crustinis. What I have here is a nice big beautiful loaf of French bread. Also I have a break knife which is super super important because it makes it so much easier. So what I am going to do is I am going to go at a slight angle here and I am not going to push down on the bread, I am just going to saw the knife gently and let the knife do all the work. I want to keep these pretty thin like about a quarter of an inch or so. If you let the knife do all the work you do not end up smashing the bread nearly as much. I will make about four or five of these real quick and what you will do is when you will go to serve the bread this is going to stay on top kind of like you do for French onion soup. Alright so there are our crustinis. We will set our bread aside for a moment. At this point we just take our bread and lay it on our sheet pan taking care not to deform it as we do it. I am going to go ahead and slice the other end off, just that nub that I had off the other end. It will not be nearly as big as the other ones but at least I will not feel that I am wasting anything. We have seven of them here of various shapes and sizes. We are going to take that garlic butter that we made earlier and give it a nice stir all the way to the bottom. We are just going to take a spoonful for each one of them and just go right over the top, just like that and make sure you stir it up to not get all of the butter solids on top. If you get a couple pieces of garlic, good for you, that's the good stuff. So you get the idea here, and I am going to finish these up and chuck these in the oven for about eight to ten minutes at 350 degrees and keep an eye on them and that is the end of this."
