"My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I am going to be making creamy tomato Basil Soup. All right from an equipment stand point, we are going to need a really good nice sharp knife. We are going to need a large cutting board which I've actually got over here but you can't see on camera right now but a nice large cutting board. There's lots of room to work; will be cutting up a lot of stuff. You will need a bowl for your trash, your tomato cores, your garlic peelings and things like that. Unless you are near a trash can, you won't need this. I'm actually using a larger soup stock pot. The reason why is because this recipe is going to make the soup to about here. That gives me a lot more room from a splashing stand point when I go to use the hand blender which I've got right here. You'll need one of these too unless you are going to put it in a food processor. This is easier because you just keep it in the same container and don't have to transfer it out and transfer it back in. I've also got a nice high temp rubber spatula. These are my favorite thing in the world. I'll always have one of these and also some nice towels. You will need to wipe your hands or wipe something up at some point. Also, you will need a method of heat to cook this in. This probably should only take us 20 minutes to get this soup going so let's get started. "
