"My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to make turkey soup out of left over turkeys after the holidays are done. Alright let's see what we're going to need for today's impromptu to left over turkey soup recipe here. First things first, you're going to need a nice good sharp knife. You're going to use this to cut up your vegetables and also if there are some turkey pieces that are too big you can use this to cut those up, or if you want to cut the carcass up or whatever, that's what you'll use this for. Let's see, I've also got this pot. Well, actually, first things first, cutting board. Cutting board goes with the knife. So we've got the knife. We have the cutting board, I use a wood cutting board. I recommend bamboo or wood or something like that. I'm not a big fan of the plastic ones, but I will use one from time to time, especially when I'm dealing with something that could be, could transfer bacteria like chicken or something, or fish. But if I'm just cutting vegetables I usually go with the wooden ones. Let's see, a large pot, I think this is, what does it say on the bottom, ten quarts maybe, nine quarts. It's a nine quart soup pot. The idea here is that we're only going to go to about here with our soup, but we need some room to put that turkey carcass in. I'm going to have to cut it down a little bit to fit it in here. So something that can actually accommodate the carcass and the soup would be nice. We have plenty of room to go but you don't want splashing and stuff like that. Also our handy dandy trusty silicone rubber spatula. Get yourself a nice, like I think this is a five hundred degree model. Something like this lasts you forever and is invaluable. If you watch enough of my videos you'll see I use it in pretty much every single one of them. And of course, you've got to have towels around, just in case you don't burn yourself. And also lastly, a stove top, or some sort of open flame that you can use to cook your soup. So with that let's go ahead and get started. "
