"Hi on behalf of Expert Village my name is Andrea Spano and I'm going to show you a couple of soups today from my new book Not Just Desserts. Since we have to wait a little bit for the soup to cool down just before we puree it because you know I really don't want you to burn your self pureeing the soup and sometimes the heat comes up. So I like to let it settle a little bit and in the mean time I realize I want to mix a little bit of garnish to our regular garnish. I have a few pieces of old bread in the refrigerators I didn't know what to do with them before they turned molded I'm going to make some homemade croûtons okay. Now this is whole wheat bread which I would actually prefer to make croûtons only cause it is kind of healthier. So where we just cut the bread up into nice little croûton shape pieces now don't forget you can also use very stale bread. This happens to be a little bit soft but that is okay cause we are going to toast it in the oven. We are going to bake it. Okay these don't have to be perfect it is nice when it is a little bit irregular because you have a few smaller croûtons as well as the larger croûtons. "
