"Hello, my name is Amy Staggs and on behalf of Expert Village here is my recipe for Amy’s Easy Bean Dip. Because I added cilantro a little earlier on, that added the nice green color that you see speckled in, I’m going to add a little bit of lime juice, just to kind of balance it out. I love limes, look for any excuse to put them in; I love food if you can’t tell. I’m just using a little manual juicer here, nothing fancy, you can also poke the limes so you don’t get any juice in your eyes and just squeeze it in. But I’m finicky, so I’m using the hand juicer. It’s catching all the seeds for me, I’m just going to add just about a half a lime, and again, we don’t want it too liquidly. I have a feeling this is going to be awesome, yum, and it is so good and citrusey, okay our bean dip is ready to go, so let’s snap it out of the food processor. I took out the center blade carefully and we’re going to spoon it into a little appetizer bowl and it looks healthy. You can see little bits of garlic and parsley and oregano adding a little bit of color. Now when I serve it, I like to add a little bit of garnish. If I know that I’m going to be heating it, I add a little bit of mild cheddar cheese on the top and then I just zap it in the microwave and some fresh chopped tomatoes. Very, very pretty and ready to be served."
