"Hi, I'm Amanda with Expert Village. In this clip we'll be slicing the French bread. I'll slice the bread into about an inch thick slices. I like French bread because it has a nice thick outer crust and the inner layers can be a little more soft, because we will be toasting it. That will give it a really nice flavor. Then from here I'm just going to place those with a single layer on the baking sheet. So you want about 6 slices of bread. I preheat the oven to about 425 and I'm going to put the bread and baking it until it is nice and dry. That is probably going to take somewhere around 25 minutes."
