"Hi, I'm Amanda with Expert Village in this clip I'll be rinsing and adding the mung beans to the rice. So I've soaked the mung beans here for a couple of hours and you have an option to soak the mung beans for a longer period at a time. You can soak the overnight if you like, you can soak them for one or two hours before you prepare them and it makes it easier to digest. They are already fairly easy a bean to digest because they are whole and they are split. So I'm just going to rinse them now, I like cooking with mung beans because they are quick to cook and they are a whole protein as well. I'll add the mung beans to the rice."
