Garnish Baked Stuffed Apples

"Hi! I'm Amanda with Expert Village. In this clip, we'll top off the apples with some cinnamon and a little bit of nutmeg. Then we'll give it a try. As we have on the bottom of the plate, a little touch of cinnamon, we'll just top the apples with another small pinch of cinnamon here just to give it a nice warm flavor. As well, a very fine pinch of the nutmeg too. Again, making sure that it's small so that the flavor doesn't over power any of the other flavors. This recipe is just delightful. It's perfect dessert for a fall or winter evening, or even a cool afternoon. With its dates, the almonds, the cinnamon, the nutmeg, all of the baked apple really sets a tone just for the cooler seasons of the year. It's a perfect dish to serve during this time. The apples are still just a little bit crisp, so that'll give it a really nice taste with the softness of the date syrup. It is so delicious. You've got to try it."
