Making A "Hairy Ape" Drink

"Hi! I'm Adam. We're here at the Bird All American Bar and Grill in beautiful downtown Mount Pleasant, Michigan. On behalf of Expert Village, we're going to mix up some drinks today, pour some shots, and have some fun. In this clip, we're going to mix a shot called the Hairy Ape. The ingredients for the Hairy Ape are vodka, banana rum or banana liqueur, orange juice, shot glass, half-ounce jigger, and a mixing cup. To mix the Hairy Ape, we're going to go ahead and add some ice to our mixing cup. We're going to do a half ounce each of vodka and banana rum or banana liqueur. Whatever you have. In this case, we're using banana rum. We'll do just a little splash of OJ. Shake that up and we'll strain it into our shot glass. That is a Hairy Ape shot. Hairy Ape. Not bad."
