Instructions

Text Size: +
Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Tips & Warnings:

  • Remember to place your stems into the foam as deep as you can. The farther in they are, they more water they are able to "drink" -- keeping them fresher, longer.
  • Cutting your stems at an angle allows you to insert them into the foam easier.
Step1
Soak your tussy mussy bouquet holder until it is well saturated with water.
Step2
Begin by adding greenery to your arrangement. Sandy starts with the ferns, and then fills in with lemon leaf sprays. Use enough greens to completely cover the foam.
Step3
Next, add your fresh flowers. Begin with your main flower (Sandy uses red roses), and starting with one at the top, insert into the foam.
Step4
Once you have the main flowers placed, you can then insert your secondary flower (lisianthus) -- remembering to place them in between the other flowers.
Step5
Finish your tussy mussy bouquet by filling in an empty spaces with a filler flower (Sandy used heather).
