"DARREN STORR: Hi. My name is Darren Storr on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show you how to run a 400-meter sprint. Most world-class 400-meter runners usually run between 43 and 45 seconds, if you're world-class. It's a complete force, complete lap, one lap around the track and this is done by timing. This is done by coordination and this is done by maintaining. One of the three things in the 400 meters is you have to drive, you have to stride, and you have to lift. If you drive for your first 50 meters, you stride the backstretch, you lift to 200, you can come away with a very impressive time, maybe a PB. And this will help you to complete the 400 meters."
