"DARREN STORR: Hi. My name is Darren Storr. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to run the 4 x 400 relay. Usually, in the 4 x 400, this is the last event for the day, so basically you really don't have to do too much stretching because you have already done your individual events so your body is warm, blood is flowing, oxygen is flowing, and you're--sometimes you'll probably look tired but this is the last event so this is pure adrenaline. So the difference between a 4 x 100 and a 4 x100, 4 x 100 is a sprint event. You get on the track, you stretch, you run the event but the 4 x 400 is a pure adrenaline race, so mainly you really don't need to stretch as much as often as you would do in your individual events just because your body is already warm, it already experienced the feelings for the day so everything is just left out to you and your adrenaline rush that you have for your last event for the day."
