Personnel in the 5-2 Football Defense

"Hi, I'm Billy Kidd, I'm here on Expert Village and we're going to talk about the five-two defense. If you're going to run games with them, if you're going to run games with them to where you're running some kind of stunts in here then you've got to make sure these guys have enough speed that the can execute these games and get in the back field. Because, if you've got someone that?s not very active and he's slow then you don't have a game here because he comes in and this guy can't make it around here fast enough to do any good for you and penetrate then you've just taken a guy and wasted him and moved him out of the play to help the offense. So, everything comes down to the personnel that you have, where you line them up and what you are going to allow them to do and what their skill level is to do to be able to make plays against an offense."
