"Hi, I'm Billy Kidd, I'm here on Expert Village and we're going to talk about the five-two defense. When you have it on the reduction on the backside, now all of a sudden you've got three people that are side by side defensively, which allows you to do multiple type of games and really confuse the offense. You can run games in here with these two or you can do it with the outside two or if you have good enough personnel you can do it with all three of them. You can bring these two guys out and this guy all the way around the end. If he's fast enough to get in the middle and get to the ball carriers or the quarterbacks. The five-two is a versatile defense that allows a lot of maneuvering or capability for maneuvering with your defensive linemen and keep your offense really guessing on where you're going to be at the snap of the ball."
