"Hi, I'm Billy Kidd, I'm here on Expert Village and we're going to talk about the five-two defense. Things that you can do with this five-two defense because of the numbers that you are working with, you can always, what we do, you can do a reduction with these guys which what you're doing is taking this defensive tackle down, usually on the weak side because you don't have a tight end. You're going to play him over the guard, you're going to reduce this defensive end to the outside of this tackle, and now you can see you've pretty much mirrored all of these men up on this weak side, which allows you're nose tackle not to have to worry about two gaps, you can focus him on the front side of A gap, which gives him the freedom to hit hard right through there, allows you're defensive tackle, you can give him one of these two guys, the A or the B on the back side, if you give him the B, you've got him controlled in here hard, the end controlling the outside and on the front side you've got you're defensive tackle usually still controlling the inside of B and your end on the outside."
