"Hi, I'm Billy Kidd, and I'm here on Expert Village to talk about the three-three defense. Again, three-three defense. You've got what we call six people here, six defensive people from offensive tackle to offensive tackle that are basically going to control this line of scrimmage and any rush on the quarterback or any run play by the ball carrier. Now, if they were to try to run any kind of pass route where this gentlemen in it, the running back, then one of these linebackers is theoretically going to take him in coverage but again that's a scheme that you're going to create depending on what teams that you're playing. But the three-three defense again, is primarily created to help stop a spread offense, it gives you people that can drop in coverage as defensive backs, it gives you these same people that can rush on blitz's to put presser on the quarterback and it still gives you defensive linemen to control the line of scrimmage and also get presser on the quarterback and help stop the running game."
