You can do any combination of blitz. Maybe you just want to rush four people, maybe it's these two right here, so you can work what we call a game between them and the game is he's either going to take this side and this one is going to take this side or visa versa that would be a game between this defensive lineman and that linebacker and then these guys still rush for contain and now you've got a four man rush which changes up the look a little bit to the offense and puts a little more pressure on the quarterback but you still have extra people in coverage. Maybe you don't like the blitz from your middle linebacker because you'd rather keep him in the middle of the field. Maybe their giving you more trouble off of one side so then you can take him with the two combinations out here and work a game with them. Maybe you send your defensive end in to give that tackle a different look, your linebacker comes hard off the edge and now you've overloaded one side again, with a four man rush. Then you've still got two linebackers that can drop in coverage. You can also switch it up to this side and do the same thing or any combination of these six people can give you a rush to the quarterback and put presser on him.
