"Hi, I'm Billy Kidd, I'm here at Expert Village and we're going to talk about the five-three defense. You can also do it the other way. You can take your defensive end and you can run him hard into that C gap and you can take your defensive tackle and you can loop him outside for contain and have that linebacker fill in this front here in the B gap and again you've got all of your gaps covered but you're doing it with three different people verses what's lined up there trying to confuse your offense so that they get confused on their blocking schemes and allow you one to hopefully to get penetration into the back field and mess the plays up for no gain, negative yards or turnovers. Now, you can do that on either side. You've got the same type of personnel over here. You've got the three guys that you can work with to create that. "
