"Hey everybody, my name is Bruce Wen and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. Today let me show you how to become a Shaolin Martial Artist. I came from a family background of martial arts. My grandfather started training in Shaolin Kung Fu at the Shaolin Temple in the early nineteen hundreds. During the 1920 burning of the Shaolin Temple he escaped and went south to Fujien. Later he got married and gave birth to my parents. After a while I was born. So at the age of three, my father decided that he would take me to the Shaolin Temple to preserve the training of Shaolin Martial Arts. So in 1986 I started training at the Shaolin Temple at the age of three. After several years of training I competed in national and international Chinese martial arts tournaments. I also traveled world wide with the Shaolin Martial Arts tours, and we gave performances all over the world. In 2005 I started the United States Shaolin Martial Arts Academy in Los Angeles. Currently I teach more than two hundred students."
