"Okay ladies, the first thing you want to remember in self defense is how to observe so you can avoid. Now, I know that there may be many situations whether maybe you're at school, maybe you've just come out of the gym from a late night workout, maybe you're coming out of a movie by yourself and walking to your car. You have to remember do not go alone, always find a buddy, find a girlfriend to walk with you, maybe a security guard but always have someone with you because women are most likely to be attacked when they're all alone and they're not paying attention to their surroundings. Which brings me to the points about being always aware of what's going on. If you're talking on your cell phone to your friend, your family, your boyfriend, your husband, you are so much likely to be attacked from behind because you're not paying attention because you're engrossed with your phone conversation. If you're walking to your car some place by yourself, make sure that you've got your eyes peeled, you're looking left and right, you're not on your cell phone and you are hopefully with a buddy. Now, here's the other thing; you have this innate feeling called your instinct. Now when your instinct goes off with bells, if you walk by someone or if you can feel someone's behind you, that's an alarm coming from your brain and your heart saying that something is wrong. Avoid walking by people that are by themselves, obviously in alley's or people that are just by themselves. You want to stay in places where they are well lit and where there are obviously more people. Whatever you do try not to walk by men or anyone that you don't know who is most likely by themselves, that's a way that you can avoid having to deal with an attack."
