"Hello! My name is Harold Hall, Ft. Lauderdale Archers in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and today we are going to talk about some of the supplies, and equipment that you would use for archery. On behalf of Expert Village I would like to welcome you. Okay another style of bow is whats called a recurve and a long bow. Years ago when people first started archery or even thought about shooting archery the long bow was basically or what they called self bow was actually just made out of wood. It wasn't as intricate as you see in this one here. The strings were maybe horse height, any kind of height or something from a animal that they could use as a string. Didn't have a shell on it. It was basically shot off your hand. Like I said it wasn't quiet as elaborate as this and it didn't have a silencer on it and of course it came along it came up with the recurve. Okay that is basically another style that you could shot."
