"Hi my name is Bryan, and welcome back to expertvillage.com. Now we are going to talk about doing a short serve using the forehand position. First off left foot needs to be forward. Racket needs to be pushed back. It should not be close to anybody, because the tendency once you have the bird to close you would have difficult doing the swing. It would be the same concept as a bowler swing. Same motion but instead there would not be a follow through. Since we are only using it for a short serve we do not need that much of a power. Point of contact will be below the waist line not above the waist line. That would be a fault position already. So keep in mind swing, contact, follow through should not reach over the shoulders since we are not using that much of a power. Point of contact to the bird. swing."
