"Hi my name is Bryan; welcome back to expertvillage.com. Now we are going to learn today the basic stance of badminton. First off, what I'm going to explain is the base position. Your shoulder needs to be level to your legs to the ground. Your racket needs to be eye level. Knees should be bent a little bit, and your legs should not be to close together or to far from your shoulder level. Keep in mind, wherever your strong hand is—like for me my right hand is my strong hand—my right foot would go over there. For left handers it is the same thing. Left hand, right foot; wherever your left foot goes your racket should go over there. They should go together in every stroke of badminton."
