Video Transcript

"AUSTIN MCBRIDE: Hi, I'm Austin McBride here on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to choose a couple of instruments that will be necessary in doing some trick shots. A couple of items that I think are essential--obviously, the ball and the club. What ball and what club to use, I'm going to be using a Nike Black. It's well used, apparently. This Nike Black is a softer shell. It acts a little bit more responsively and you can control it a little bit better than some of those distance balls that are out there on the market. So I would definitely go with a soft-covered golf ball. And then, for the wedge, we have a 58 degree Cleveland. A wedge is anything that's above 48 degrees. They're usually between 48 to 64 degrees. This 58 that I'm going to be using should be perfect for the tricks that we're going to be doing today. So what we're going to do is hold the club open like this. You can have a good grip and that's about it for the basics of trick shot."
