" Hi I'm Angela on behalf of expertvillage.com and right now I'm going to show you exercises right now that you can do in your home that stretches out the lower back. I like to pick out something to lay down on the floor where I'm going to be exercising. Chose whatever is more comfortable. This exercise is very simple and relaxing. What you want do is just lay on the floor on your stomach. Then what you simple want to do is just lift the back up. You can feel the stretch almost immediately you don't want to strain it to much. Depending on your flexibility determines on how far you can extend. Just do this and hold for 5 seconds breathing in and out. Release. Another thing you can do if you feel more comfortable is extending the arms outward and then lifting up. It is a little bit more difficult you cant stretch out as far like if your arms were the other way but it is as equal effective. Just hold for 5 seconds and then release. This is a simple back bend exercise that you can do in your own home that stretches out the lower back."
