"Hi! I am Angela on behalf of Expertvillage.com and right now I am going to show you one way to train for a marathon. While training for a marathon, it’s not only an important thing to work up your endurance to be able to run for a long time, but to build up muscle mass. This will allow you to be able to run for that long time too. What I always think is helpful to do this is to either walk in hills or places that are really inclined or do it on a treadmill. This treadmill especially I really like because I have intervals that I can push, I have a hill option, which has the inclinations that are inconsistent where they are just in the front, and I also have this where I can control it myself. I will show you how this works. I start at a very light speed but immediately with the first inclination, it is turning this exercise into where I am practically walking on a hill. This increases the muscle mass and I can feel the work immediately being done in my muscles because if I’m training for a marathon I’m either training on a treadmill that is straight or on a track that is straight. I can feel the difference immediately. You don’t want to do this everyday. You need days where your body recovers and your muscle repairs itself."
