" Hi! I’m Angela on behalf of Expertvillage.com and right now I am going to show you the third step to be training for marathon. This is after you have been training for at least 21 weeks. This third step is basically the 3 weeks before you go on for your marathon. This is where you do actually the least bit of strenuous activity because you are trying to repair your muscles to make them ready to work for all that period of time during the long marathon. These are the steps in the last three weeks. You want to cool down and cut your distances gradually from 25% to 50% and then finally to 75% in the last 3 weeks. Also, what is very, very important is to not ever run more than half a marathon during this point, because your body will need more time to repair which would not allow you to finish the actual marathon without injury."
