" Hi! My name is Dan and I’m here with Expert Village. Right now, I’m going to talk about feeding your campfire. You want to gradually build your fire up by gradually increasing the size of your fuel. You want to carefully place your fuel in a symmetrical pattern around your fire to ensure an even burn. Another good tip is to prep your firewood by putting it near the fire, which will help with the drying out process and can also give you a good idea of what you have on hand. As your fire grows, so can the size of the wood you put on it. Once you have a good bed of coals, you can decide whether you want a cooking fire of just a comfort fire. If you’re going to have cooking fire, you can build your log cabin right around your existing flame. Those are some of the basics of starting and feeding your campfire. "
