" My name is Dan and I’m here with Expert Village. Right now we’re going to talk about one method of building a campfire; it’s called the log cabin. You want to start your log cabin with some of your larger logs on the bottom. Have them running parallel to each other. Put your next level running perpendicular to the first. It’s good to have larger logs on the bottom, which may be a little bit moist, because once your fire starts going the heat from the fire will dry out the bottom logs. Once you have a good base for log cabin, you can place your kindling in the middle of it. Once your fire it lit, the log cabin provides an excellent base for a cooking fire. You can put a pan right on top of it and cook right out of your pan. This is one sort of fire that you can build while out camping. "
