"This is a shuffle step and it comes from the grapevine. Remember the grapevine crosses behind. With this we're going to keep the feet together. Kind of like you're shuffling. Maybe in a basketball game. So it becomes a little bit more athletic in movement. Again, you can hold the ball and lift it to the side. Or add those eye hand coordination drills where you're dribbling to the side, or throwing it up in the air, or the scoot, post scoot. Or shuffle to the side. And what I'm doing is switching hands. As I'm shuffling to the right I'm using my left hand and I'm shuffling to the left using my right hand to again add to the coordination and a little dexterity. Or I could use the same hand moving to both sides and then switch. Again, something fun, something cardio, and something different. You always want to do something different in your workout to keep yourself motivated."
