"One more combination upper and lower body exercise is going to be a leg extension with an external rotation of the upper body so create your loop, place it around your ankle, tighten it up, step on the tube, ball of the foot is on the floor, tighten the hip of the leg you are standing on but keep the knee soft. You are going to be doing a hip extension exercise and with the arm external rotation. External rotation is good for anyone who plays softball. We do a lot of internal rotation in our regular daily life so we want things that are going to take us in the opposite direction so I'm going to hold down on the tube, lift it by bringing my elbow in, we're doing knee extension to strengthen the quadriceps and I'm doing a little bit of external rotation. Now the line of pull is not the greatest for this exercise but it will work in your external rotation, knee extension quadriceps, back of the shoulder, rotator cuff and a great strengthener for anything with external rotation."
