Benzoyl peroxide it kills the bacteria, it is just a different type. Salicylic kills one type of bacteria which is a gram negative or a gram positive and benzoyl peroxide kills the opposite of what salicylic kills gram negative, gram positive. Hydrogen peroxide kills both of those so it is ideal for the P.M use."
