In todays society one of the largest factors in buying a new car is the gas mileage or fuel economy of the vehicle. This is for several reasons but the two largest are the high gas prices and impact of the burning fuel on the environment. Both of these things are huge concerns today as they should be. But how can we go farther with this. There are several small things we can all do to get better gas mileage without buying a new car or paying high prices for converting to biodiesel. Here are a few.

Our expert, Brian Clay, has been a licensed mechanic for over 20 years and knows all the inner workings of a car engine. He will show us all several easy and immediate ways to improve out gas mileage and thicken our wallets. Video Transcript

"Hi! My name is Brian and I am a mechanic at Rony's Car Pros in Culver City, California. I am here to talk about fuel efficiency on behalf of Expert Village. One way to save fuel would be to drive the car moderately. By moderately I mean easy acceleration and no hard stopping like this car behind me. This would also save money on gas by reducing the air dynamics on the front end of the car and keeping your car at a constant speed which to save gas. "
