"Hello! My name is Steve Kennedy and on behalf of expertvillage.com, we are here at Warren Cliff Chrysler in London Ontario, Canada with some tips on your next buying vehicle decision. Next in our game plan as well as checking for liens, you should check for accidents. Again this is important no matter where you are buying the vehicle from. Always make sure the vehicle is free from accident. It is something you have to disclose if you buy it from a dealership but if you are buying privately or from auction of that nature, make sure that the vehicle has not been in an accident and seriously repaired. They could be anything from a couple of panels to major structural repair. So what you want to do again is get the VIN of vehicle and there are several websites available. You can also go to your own insurance company. There are several places you can get that information but it is very important that when you are looking at a vehicle that it has not been involved in an accident because it could lead to some serious implications later on especially if it was not repaired properly because if you are buying a vehicle, you never where it came from and if you get something of that nature, it could really cost you a lot of money in the long run so always make sure you do the proper inspections on the vehicles to make sure there are no surprises later on."
