"ERIK RINCON: Hi, this is Erik for ExpertVillage.com. Today, we will be talking about how to buy vehicles here at Inland Empire Auto Center. The procedure--the procedure after you find a vehicle that you pretty much found and liked--the procedure is about 10 or 15 minutes. It starts of with a procedure of making a copy of the driver's license, filling out the basic application, getting stipulations first, paycheck stubs and proof of residency and then a total of a combined of about four to six references. Once we get all of that paper work on it, the process and type of application and the actual finer contract on it will be anywhere above 5 or 10 minutes. References are people that they needed getting--having contact just in case that you will not be able to be traceable for any particular reason, that they have somebody in references so they can get a hold of you and whether it's friends, families or any member of the family that immediate and that are able to get a hold of you. A person should have, usually have about four to six references depending on what kind of financing and what kind of credit category you fall in. Sometimes you need to have up to eight. The reason why is because you're a higher risk as far as financing, so need to have a little more people to put down as references."
