Video Transcript

"Hi, this is John Michaels with Expert Village; today we are going to be talking about how to buy a used car. In this segment we are going to be talking about warranties. Warranties are available on a used car just as they are on a new car. A used car warranty can last up to a 100,000 miles so check with your local dealership to find out if you purchased your car there, whether or not they have a used car warranty or extended warranty available on the used car that you have purchased. Also remember that some used cars still have the remainder of their factory warranty, lasting upwards of the remainder of 100,000 miles. Be sure to keep an eye out for those cars where the factory warranty is still intact and also ask at your local dealership if and where and for how long an extended warranty might be available for you new used car.
