on 9/3/2009 Good information for a beginning inline skater. Does not assume that everyone is born knowing how to skate. Info is true, and easy to follow. Not sure why the low rating... Thanks Adam!

Video Transcript

" Hey, this is Adam Silverstein on behalf of Expertvillage.com and in this clip I am going to show you guys how to stay balanced on your rollerblades. So what we are going to do is as soon as we stand up we are going to keep our feet balanced under us and we are going to keep our knees really bent. This is going to lower our center of gravity making it easier to stand. What you want to do also is make sure that you are not leaning far forward or too far back. If your weight goes too far in one of those directions you are going to fall in that direction. The lower you get the easier it is going to be to stand. If you stand up too straight it is a lot harder to balance on them. It is something that you learn the more you do it. "
